Lively, friendly and well mannered nearing the point of polite; they are demonstrably affectionate and sensitive, yet fearless with a well-developed considerate instinct. They form strong bonds with family; fantastic with kids and are enthusiastically obedient – just like the kids, huh!

A distinguished soft-bite retriever hound, Vizsla’s are a highly intelligent breed with an almost insatiable desire to learn, impress, to love, and do good! Yes, they do have a deserved reputation as enthusiastically energetic – but when kept busy, fit, happy and mentally active your Vizsla will reward you with nothing but love and affectionate exhaustion. Around the house, they are notably odourless and thankfully they moult far less than other dogs. We absolutely adore Vizsla's, which has to be the best reason to breed them!
