lively, gentle, sensitive and affectionate
If you are not so familiar with the Hungarian Vizsla breed – please allow us to enlighten you. YES, they are the best dogs on the planet. Lively, gentle and well mannered to the point of polite; they are demonstrably affectionate and sensitive, yet fearless with a well-developed protective instinct, fantastic with kids and enthusiastically obedient. A distinguished hunting dog – Vizsla’s are a highly intelligent breed with an almost insatiable desire to learn, impress and do good! They do have a reputation as over energetic – but if kept busy, fit, happy and mentally active your Vizsla will reward you with nothing but love & adoration. Around the house, they are notably odourless and (thankfully) malt far less than other dogs.

Arti and Suki have been raised together in a harmonious and healthy environment in Tough near Alford, in Scotland. Reared on a raw meaty bone diet, they are our much loved pets. As four year old's, they are now well trained, socialised, and ready for breeding. Both are (KC) Kennel Club Registered; bred from certified pedigree working stock lineage with champion bloodlines and proven titles in show and field. It worth mentioning that both Artie and Suki have been brought up together in a loving family home environment. Their pups too, will 'suffer' the very same adoration and home-style care we believe they deserve before they move on and into their new family homes.
Arti has now given birth to a litter of seven on the 27 SEPT '26. Her mate is Suki's beautifully natured father, Reuben (more info below). Arti recently passed her ocular health test prior to breeding. And, all dogs (including sire) have been tested for Hip & Elbow Dysplasia; a genetic defect causing abnormal formation and bone-fit of the hip socket. BVA/KC Hip & Elbow Dysplasia, and Eyesight testing results are as follows:
ARTI | Hip & Elbow Dysplasia Score 9/4 | BVA Eye & Adnexa Tested All Clear | KC reg AZ14073002
SUKI | Hip & Elbow Dysplasia Score 6/6 | KC reg AZ16814307
REUBEN | Hip Score 6/7 | KC reg AV01504502

Spirited, energetic and intelligent Arti; Formally the wild-child of the litter, Arti has matured into a fun-loving and playful teen. Fit and fast, she is a thoughtful, cuddly yet somewhat boisterous companion to Suki... the cuddlier one. We reckon that her offspring will prove most suitable for active families and steady couples; also ideal as a working dog, HPR and Agility eventing.
Arti's pups will be available for viewing anytime after the 15th OCTOBER at our property in Tough, near Alford in Aberdeenshire. See map below.

Reuben is Arti's first mate, specifically selected to sire because of his well-mannered nature, lineage and proven breeding success.
Reuben has such an interesting pedigree, with a superb mix of Hungarian show and working bloodlines. He is by Sugár Csardas (Imp Hun) from the well-established Sugár line – which has produced some very successful Hungarian, European and International champions, and offspring with well-regarded hunting abilities. There are also some lovely Kőszegi-Vadász and Cikolai lines behind him, alongside established UK and European dogs on his Dam’s side. Overall, he enjoys an excellent combination of conformity, working ability and proven bloodlines. And that, makes his pedigree particularly appealing when considering the ideal type and temperament for desirable breeding to produce well-balanced offspring.
You'll not likely meet a dog with as much grace and charm. Ginger and gentle, happy, goofy, incredibly loyal and confident. It's no surprise that Arti fell head over heels on day one!

Artie-Mum! What an amazing first-time-mum legend you are! After a long-long-long-long night we're delighted to welcome into the world a healthy litter of seven beautiful wriggly puppies. Five very small boys and two equally tiny girls!
meet suki
Just like her father Reuben, Suki is an absolute charmer, born with all his adorable and personable attributes. Her Mother is Nala (offspring to Buffy and Moose) – from our forth Vizsla litter born some 11 years ago. You can find out more about Nala below on the testimonials page.
Slightly younger than Arti, we hope to find Suki a most suitable mate once we have happily homed Arti's expectant litter.
